I am an evolutionary biologist in the Department of Biology at George Mason University (VA, USA).

My research uses an integrative approach to understand patterns and processes in vertebrate ecology and evolution. Research in my group covers two main general topics: 1. The use of genetic/genomic tools for conservation purposes, and 2. Understanding what are the drivers of physiological and morphological evolution and the relationship between physiological or morphological variation and behavioral outcomes.

Keywords: Evolutionary biology, Conservation, Herpetology, Phenotypic evolution, Molecular Ecology
