New Deputy Editor-in-Chief: Christine Meynard

Christine Meynard is a researcher at the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food and the Environment (INRAE) in Montpellier, France. Her research focuses on spatial modelling and the relationships between biodiversity and environmental gradients, including agricultural intensification and climate. She has a special interest in translating ecological theory to practice, and the use of virtual ecology to test and develop macroecological approaches. She has worked in many different biogeographic regions of the world, including Latin America, Africa and Europe, and many different types of organisms, from fish to plants, birds and arthropods. She also has a special interest in topics of diversity and inclusion in science.
