I am Associate Professor in the Landscape Ecology unit at the Department of Ecology, Swedish University of Agricultural Sciences. My main research interest involves using historical data sources to understand how plants and other taxa have responded to the large changes in climate and land use that have occurred in the past 200 or so years. I am also very interested in the ways in which species and communities can be resistant to change, for example through the use of remnant and marginal habitats, and by the formation of soil seed banks in plants.
