The edible dormouse (Glis glis) is an arboreal rodent well adapted to climbing trunks and leaping between the upper branches of forest canopies. Pictured is an adult individual in mid-jump at night in an oak woodland in Montseny Natural Park, shortly before entering hibernation. Full open access paper here.
