Photo of a white seabream, Diplodus sargus in the Mediterranean Sea. The white seabream is a coastal exploited marine fish that spawns from March till June/July. It produces pelagic larvae that stay in the water column for approximately 20 to 35 days. The seabream inhabits rocky reefs and seagrass beds.

In our paper, we found an exceptionally long distance dispersal for this species.
