Birds are growing in body size in the mountains of Tanzania. In a community full of specialized, range-restricted species such as the Usambara double-collared sunbird (Cinnyris usambaricus), we show that body mass and wing length have increased over time across species, a trend that is strongly associated with warming temperatures in the region. Our findings counter the prevailing evidence that climate change drives decreases in body size. Photo by: Dubi Shapiro.
